Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site

Carl Sandburg (1878-1967) was an American poet, historian, and folklorist. He won the Pulitzer Prize for this biography of Lincoln and a second for his poetry. His family’s home in North Carolina is now a National Historic Site. Included are a timeline, biographies of Sandburg family members, curriculum materials and lesson plans for grades K-12.
