9/11 Commission Records

provides official documents from the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States. Congress created the "9/11 Commission," as it was called, to provide a "full and complete accounting" of the September 11, 2001, attacks and to recommend how to prevent future attacks. The commission existed from 2003-2004. During that time, it held hearings, conducted interviews, and produced a report. (National Archives and Records Administration)
