Space Day

(the first Thursday in May) is being celebrated at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center with a webcast in which astronauts and spaceflight experts talk with students about training for space, traveling to space, and living and working in space. (National Aeronautics and Space Administration)

Interesting Fact:

Space Day uses space-related activities to inspire and excite youth about careers in science, math, engineering and technology. Celebrated on the first Thursday each May, Space Day is the culmination of a year-round educational program.
