NASA Connect

is a series designed to help students in Grades 5-8 see connections between math, science, and technology concepts taught in the classroom and those used every day by NASA researchers. Each program includes a 30-minute TV broadcast (which can be viewed live or taped), a web activity, and a lesson guide describing a hands-on activity. Proportional reasoning is the theme of the 2001-2002 series. (National Aeronautics and Space Administration)
