Little Kinnakeet Lifesaving Station: Home to Unsung Heroes

describes the lifesaving stations constructed from 1871-1915 along the coasts of the Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, and Great Lakes to rescue ships in trouble.
